On foot from town, take the path that leaves the main road by the Porth Mellon sailing centre. Double back when you reach the open area in front of Porth Thomas. The kayak shed is about 50 metres away on the right.
By bicycle, follow the road out of town, turning left at Rose Hill. The road to Porth Thomas is the first on the left after the Z bend.
